The Glenavon party arrived at the team hotel in central Minsk just before 6pm (4pm our time) over an hour behind schedule. This was due to the delayed departure of their flight from Berlin after a passenger mislaid his passport and came within minutes of being removed from the plane and a lady who seemed to suffer a panic attack and had to be attended to by Glenavon doctor Stephen Best. Following dinner the players are now resting within the hotel. The temperature in Minsk today has been 75 degrees.

Tomorrow evening the team will train in Minsk and not make the traditional journey to train at their opponents ground which is some 80 kilometers away in Soligorsk.

All the players are fit though David Elebert is a doubt after he had to come off during the second half of last week’s first leg tie.

A further update will appear on this website tomorrow night.
