The U20s secured another home victory on Monday night, defeating Glentoran Reserves 4-1.
A Conor McCloskey free kick gave Glenavon an early lead, and despite creating a number of good chances, it remained that way until the hour mark when Ross Hunter scored from a free kick, after he was hauled down just outside the box.
Glentoran hit back quickly to make it 2-1 with a close range finish after Glenavon failed to clear a corner.
Captain CJ Sullivan then produced a moment of individual brilliance, setting off on a mazy run through several Glentoran players, however his shot was parried out to the incoming Luca McGreevey-Couchman who slotted home the rebound.
Substitute Aaron Prendergast rounded off the scoring with a composed finished in the 80th minute to seal a well deserved victory.
