Glenavon FC is please to announce the signing on James Doona from Longford Town. The 25-year-old winger has played for Shamrock Rovers, St Patrick’s Athletic and Cork City.

The Glenavon Media Team spoke to Stephen McDonnell on the new signing, “James is your traditional winger, he can go inside and outside and is very comfortable of both feet.” James came through St Pat’s academy, then had big moves to Shamrock Rovers and Cork City. The manager can see how James’ qualities and that Glenavon FC is the right platform for him to perform.  Stephen continued “We have gained a very, very good talent, he is an exciting player and our fans will enjoy watching James.”

James has met up with the team and has started training, ready for being available come 1^st January.
