Three changes for Glenavon: Andy McGrory replaces Kris Lindsay, Kevin Braniff is in for the suspended Andy Hall and Ciaran Martyn makes his first league start of the season for Andy Kilmartin.

Joel Cooper put Glenavon ahead in the 6th minute with a left foot shot from the ‘D’ after neat work by Braniff and a challenge by Bradley that saw the ball break to his team mate who scored for the second game in succession.

Bradley made it 2-0 in the 24th minute when Rangers defender Daniel Wallace failed to get enough on a header from Cooper’s ball over the top and the Glenavon striker fired a right foot shot past Neeson from inside the box for his 14th league goal of the season.

It was 3-0 two minutes before the break when Conor Dillon rose at the near post to power in a header from Braniff’s corner for his first goal of the season. The corner was won by great play down the left wing by Cooper who robbed McCloskey and raced into the box, his shot taking a deflection over the bar.

Just seven minutes into the second half Braniff made it four with a free kick from just outside the box. The goal came at a cost though as Cooper was injured in the foul by Andrew Doyle and limped off to be replaced by Mark Patton.

It was 5-0 just three minutes later when Martyn stroked the ball in at the near post from a low cross by Daniel Kearns.

Dillon was unlucky not to add another goal in the 61st minute when another near post header crashed back off the far post.

Miguel Chines came off the bench and scored a consolation goal 15 minutes from time with a close range tap in from Andrew Doyle’s free kick.
