Best wishes to Kyle Neill who goes for an operation to repair a torn cruciate ligament tomorrow. The veteran defender who turns 38 in March is determined to come back from this injury and play again for Glenavon.
“I know a lot of people will say at my age perhaps my playing days are over, but I am setting a target of coming back and playing for Glenavon again,” vowed Kyle when he spoke to the Lurgan Mail this week.
“The club have been absolutely brilliant. Even though my contract is up at the end of the season they have organised the operation and are going to cover my rehabilitation over the summer.”
