The Reserves game scheduled for this coming Monday night, 27th, has been postponed. We will let you know when a new date has been arranged.

The Reserves went down 6-3 away to Crusaders Reserves in the Development League on a night of horrendous weather on Wednesday. 2-0 down after 15 minutes against a strong Crusaders team, Jack Sharvin pulled one back before half time. The Glenavon coaches were disappointed by some decisions by the referee who rejected a number of strong penalty appeals.

Jordan Jenkins levelled the scores after the break but Crues scored again to lead 3-2 but that was short-lived as Jenkins got another with a great finish from edge of the box to make it 3-3.

The Crues got another with 20 minutes to go, leading 4-3. Glenavon attacked for the last 15 minutes looking for an equaliser, but again with the referee failing to award several decisions to the Lurgan Blues, a third equaliser didn’t arrive and Crues made the final score 6-3 with two goals in the last couple of minutes.

Glenavon: Taylor, McIvor, Fisher, Harland, Doyle, Renato, Norton, Kelly, Robinson, Jenkins, Sharvin. Subs: Lucas, Jackson
