Spectators travelling to the Brandywell next Saturday for our Danske Bank Premiership fixture against Institute are askedĀ  to note they must obtain match tickets to gain admittance to the ground. These can only be purchased, cash sales only, from Institute FC officials at the Belfray Country Inn, Drumahoe (on the left hand side of the main road prior to entering Drumahoe village) on Saturday from 1:15 to 2:30 pm. Unfortunately Institute officials are unable to guarantee that match tickets would be available for sale at Mourneview prior to this. Payment by cash will not be accepted on the day at the Brandywell so it is important that spectators planning to attend the game purchase tickets at the Belfray. Glenavon fans will be accommodated in the South Stand at the Brandywell.

Parking for officials and supporters is available in the main Brandywell car park.

Supporters are also reminded that there are specific offences created by the Criminal Justice Act NI 2011 in relation to:

  • possession of flares/fireworks etc
  • throwing articles capable of causing injury
  • going onto the playing area
  • sectarian chanting
  • drinking on passenger carrying vehicles

While our own Code of Conduct prohibits the display of any racist, sectarian and inappropriate emblems or banners.

It is almost 50 years since our club played a competitive game at the Brandywell and we are sure that our supporters will uphold the good name of Glenavon FC on what is an historic occasion and ensure there is minimal disruption to the local residential and business communities.
