It was 3-0 to Glenavon at half-time at Mill Road Crumlin in tonight’s pre-season friendly between the Mid-Ulster neighbours.

Andrew Mitchell opened the scoring after 15 minutes when he headed in a cross from Mark Patton. Mitchell turned provider in the 41st minute with a neat diagonal ball that released Adam Foley one-on-one with Ports keeper John Connolly and he made no mistake.

On the stroke of half-time it was Foley with the assist as his neat play released Patton and he stepped onto his right foot to plant a shot into the bottom corner.

Kevin Amuneke pulled a goal back in the 64th minute when his free kick looped up off a defender before going in off the underside of the bar.
