With only a few days to go to Saturday’s Irish Cup quarter final at Shamrock Park supporters are reminded that they should not attempt to bring alcohol, glass containers, flares, smoke bombs or fireworks into the ground. Any person attempting to do so will have the item(s) confiscated and may be denied access to the game. Inside the ground supporters are asked to obey the instructions of stewards and PSNI personnel at all times – they are there for your safety and comfort. Anyone attempting to throw a flare, smoke bomb or firework inside Shamrock Park will be identified and removed from the ground. It is understood that as part of their crowd control measures on Saturday several PSNI personnel will be using hand held mobile cameras.

Your support has played a significant part in our Irish Cup successes in recent years. Please continue to be vocal and passionate on Saturday and always do so in a manner that upholds the good name of Glenavon Football Club.

Finally supporters should note that Mahon Road in Portadown is closed for road works. Those who normally use this route should therefore allow extra time to get to the ground.
