Glenavon Football Club are delighted to announce the re-signing of Mark Patton ahead of the 2026/27 season.

A familiar face to the Glenavon faithful, Mark returns to Mourneview Park having previously enjoyed a memorable spell at Mourneview Park between 2013 and 2018. During that time, he made 104 appearances, scoring 15 goals for the club, including winners in the Boxing Day derby 2013 and Irish Cup semi-final and final in 2014. He was also part of the 2016 cup-winning squad as well as some memorable European campaigns.

Since leaving Glenavon, Mark has gone on to represent Dungannon Swifts, Loughgall and most recently Dundela, bringing a wealth of experience from across the Irish League.

Now, after several years away, the experienced midfielder returns to the club where he enjoyed some of the best moments of his career. His quality on the ball, experience and understanding of what it means to represent Glenavon will be a valuable asset to the squad as preparations continue for the season ahead.
