Glenavon FC & Man On Partnership – We do this together

Glenavon Football Club is proud to announce a new partnership with Man On, a Northern Ireland mental health charity dedicated to supporting people through life’s toughest moments.

The first session will be Tuesday 30th June, 8:30pm at Glenavon’s new 3G Pitch and is free and open to everyone.

This partnership reflects Glenavon’s belief that a football club is more than a team, it is a community anchor. Our supporters, volunteers, families, and young people look to Glenavon not only for football, but for belonging, connection, and care. By joining forces with Man On, we are strengthening our commitment to the wellbeing of everyone.

Man On provides vital mental health support across Northern Ireland, offering a safe, confidential space for people to talk, be heard, and receive guidance when they need it most. Their work is rooted in compassion, dignity, and the belief that no one should ever feel alone. These values mirror the spirit of Glenavon and the role we play in our community.

As part of this partnership, Glenavon FC and Man On are launching a weekly community football session, designed to bring people together in a positive, supportive environment.

These sessions are about more than football. They are about connection, conversation, and creating a space where people can enjoy the game while knowing support is always close by. Whether you want to play, meet new people, or simply feel part of something, you are welcome.

Glenavon FC has always stood for pride, unity, and looking after our own. Partnering with Man On allows us to deepen that commitment and ensure that the people who support this club, week in, week out, know that support is available for them too.

Glenavon wants to be a club that listens, a club that cares, and a club that stands with its community on and off the pitch.
