Club Statement Ahead of Saturday’s Derby

As we move into the last five games of the season, Glenavon FC would like to thank our fans for their continued support.

Your support has been an integral part of the recent upturn in Glenavon’s fortunes, with the atmosphere at both home and away matches showcasing your pride and passion for the club.

It is vital that we as a club, fans, players and staff focus on this Saturday’s home derby against Portadown without distraction. We ask that our supporters continue to show their support, without the use of flares, fireworks, or any other pyrotechnic devices.

All supporters may be subject to search. Any supporter found to have flares/fireworks in their possession will not be admitted to the ground and may be arrested immediately by the PSNI on duty on the day and prosecuted to the full extent of the law which will result, if convicted, in a permanent criminal record and banning order.

It is also an offence to enter the playing area including the perimeter.

Anyone found to have alcohol in the stand or within view of the playing area will be removed immediately from the ground.

To ensure this fixture is a safe and enjoyable experience please follow all instructions from Police and stewards.
