CHAIRMAN’S REMARKS

Chairman Stephen Best spoke to the Glenavon Media Team prior to today’s match away to Larne.

“We face a tough game today away to Larne FC. We have had a poor run of results and are also hit with suspensions and injuries.

“When I was the club doctor the players were like nephews to me. I knew how hard they were trying, and I hated to hear personal criticism if things were not going well. Just imagine it is your brother or your mate out on the pitch tomorrow.

“The supporters are more important than ever. You are the twelfth man. It easy to cheer when our team is winning. Get behind the players tomorrow and it could help kick off a run of results that get us up the table.”
