GLENAVON TO FACE WARRENPOINT TOWN

Glenavon has been drawn away to Warrenpoint Town in the first round of this season’s Bet McLean League Cup. The tie will be played on Tuesday 7^th October 2025.

Warrenpoint, which plays in the Championship, won its opening fixture of the season 3-1 against Dundela. However, since then it has suffered successive defeats versus Limavady United (1-0), Queen’s University (2-0) and Armagh City (5-3).

The match at Milltown will kick off at 7-45 pm and will be played to a finish with penalties and extra time, if necessary.
