Glenavon FC are pleased to announce the loan signings of Bridel Bosakani (21) from Drogheda Utd to January and Josh Kee (23) from Larne until the end of the season.

Bosakani, a striker, signed his first professional deal with The Drogs just before Christmas last year and has scored 11 goals for their u20s team including a hattrick against St Mochta’s in the Leinster Senior Cup semifinal.
Kee, a midfielder, will be no stranger to Irish League fans. He came through the ranks of H&W Welders where he made 90 appearances, netting 12 times before joining Larne in January of this year.

Regarding the two new signings Paddy McLaughlin, Glenavon manager, commented, “we’re delighted to welcome Bridel and Josh to the club. Bidel is a lively striker who is highly regarded at Drogheda. He doesn’t mind putting himself about which is exactly what you need in Irish league. He’s also got a lot of pace and good movement which will no doubt trouble defences.”

“Josh Kee was arguably the best player in the Championship last season with Welders and is also tipped for success at Larne. He’s featured in a lot of their preseason games as well as in Europe and we’re really pleased to have him on board.”

“Both players will help give us a cutting edge at the top end of the pitch that we’ve been slightly lacking so far this season. We’re creating some good chances in games but we need a bit more composure which these guys will add to our attack.”

“We thank both Drogheda and Larne for their professionalism in getting both lads in.”

Bosakani said, regarding his move, “I’m absolutely delighted to come to Glenavon. I’m excited to be involved with a great bunch of lads and show them, the coaching staff and the fans what I’m all about – scoring goals! The club are ambitious and I’m thrilled to be a part of that. We want to push on and get up the league and I can’t wait to be part of it.”

On his signing, Kee said, “I’m buzzing to be at Glenavon. When I had a conversation with Paddy and hear his plans for the club I wanted to be part of that. I’m really looking forward to getting going and playing with the boys. I trained with tonight and they’re a great group of lads. I can’t wait to get stuck in.”

Welcome to Mourneview Bridel and Josh!

In other news Tadgh Ryan has left the club by mutual consent. We wish him well in his future career.
