Glenavon FC are delighted to announce our partnership with Just A Chat as the club’s official charity for the next 2 seasons. This will see the charity’s logo appear on the team shorts alongside our existing sponsors. We will also run several collaborative events and collections for their initiatives throughout the partnership.

Formed in May 2022 Just A Chat is a Mental Health Charity based in Craigavon whose goal is to make sure that people know what to do or where to go in the event of a Mental Health Crisis.

They have a Charity Football team with over 80 members, a women’s wellness group, regular workshops throughout the community, signposting and awareness campaigns online and community events to raise awareness.

Recently Just A Chat FC held a tournament after Glenavon’s historic friendly with FC Erzgebirge where a bucket collection raised vital funds for various initiatives the charity are involved in.

Commenting on the partnership, John Elliott, Glenavon FC Executive Director said, “I’m really pleased to announce our partnership with Just A Chat. Mental health is an area that’s vitally important and at Glenavon we want to do our part to encourage people in our club and community to look after their own mental health. We also want to be able to signpost people to where the appropriate help is available should they need it and that’s where Just A Chat come in. Since we first had discussions with Conor and Amy they’ve been great to work with and we know that the partnership will be great for the club, the charity and our community as a whole.”
