CARROLL, DORAN AND HENDERSON DEPART

James Carroll has left Glenavon to join Loughgall on a permanent contract. The 24-year-old centre-half was signed by Stephen McDonnell last summer and was a mainstay of the first team during its nine-match unbeaten run during September and October.

Jamie Doran has joined Newry City on loan until the end of the season. A native of Ballyholland, outside Newry, he is a product of the Glenavon Academy. In Spring 2023 he was a member of the Northern Ireland Under-19 squad. He spent the first half of the 2023-24 campaign at Annagh United before Stephen McDonnell recalled him in January 2024.

Cohen Henderson has also left Glenavon to join Oxford Sunnyside. He spent the first half of the current season on loan with Banbridge Town. He has now decided to look for a new club. Another Academy graduate, he made his senior debut in April 2023 at the age of just 16 years, 252 days. He subsequently spent six months on loan with Annagh United.
