Our blood pressures have just about recovered after the epic Coleraine match on Saturday and we have another match with The Bannsiders on Tuesday. Im not sure our collective heart can take it. Saturday’s late equaliser and goal celebration shows the real passion, energy and hunger of the team. And what a reaction from the fans.
The Lurgan Blues take on Coleraine in the BetMcLean League Cup on 5th December, KO 7:45. After two trips to Limavady the North West is like a second home to Stephen McDonnell’s Blue and White Army.
Fans on Saturday remain upbeat and are excited about the team’s recent performances.
Regarding the cup fixture the manager says, “we have to be a hard team to beat, we don’t want anyone to think we are a soft touch that’s the culture we are creating here and the belief is growing.” He continued “we have to go there and try to get into the semi final of the league cup which we want and where we want to go”
With injuries and suspensions the manager will be looking to the squad for the match.
Fans are to access the Showgrounds via the Hillmans way entrance which is detailed with the red line on the map below.
