With the January transfer window fast approaching supporters who have not signed up for the “200 Club” – and even some of those who have and can afford to – are encouraged to join the “Glenavon Benefactors’ Club” which was also launched earlier this year.
Members of the Club agree to donate £1,000 per year (by agreed instalments if desired) to the parent club over a three year period. As with the “200 Club” all donations go into a separate bank account to support manager Stephen McDonnell’s wages budget. Such additional funds are essential if Glenavon is to retain its place within the NIFL Premiership, be competitive in the transfer market and provide an attractive winning team on the park.
Members of the “Benefactors’ Club” will shortly be invited to a meet and greet session with the manager and a pre match festive lunch prior to Christmas period at which there will be a special guest speaker. They will also enjoy other benefits during each season which will be announced in due course.
To join the “Benefactors’ Club” simply contact any club director or enquire at the office at Mourneview Park, Monday – Thursday mornings.
