Coleraine FC U20s 5-1 Glenavon FC U20s

Glenavon U20s made the trip North to the Coleraine showgrounds on Monday evening and couldn’t continue their good run of form against an experienced and clinical Coleraine team.

The first half was very open with both teams attacking and countering each other. Both sides created good chances, but it was Coleraine who made it 1-0 midway through the first half.

The Lurgan Blues continued to attack and get in behind Coleraine, but were not able to capitalize on any chances created.

The second half saw Coleraine take full control of the game, exploiting any space or mistake made by Glenavon to add four more goals to their tally.

Daniel Brown finished well in the dying moments of the game to complete the scoring as the game finished 5-1.

Glenavon host Ballymena United U20s next Monday evening at Mourneview Park.
