As you may have seen on our social media channels yesterday, Glenavon scored two wins in one evening as their pre-season campaigned continued.

Gary Hamilton took a team mixed with youth and experience to Rathfriland Rangers and despite falling behind to a goal early in the second half, a brace from Josh Doyle and a Oisin Barr strike saw Glenavon get the win.

At Crumlin United, Paul McAreavey took charge of a side which won 2-0 thanks to goals from Danny Purkis and Jack O’Mahony.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we hope to bring you the highlights from the Crumlin game shortly. The highlights of the Rathfriland game are below

Glenavon travel to Portstewart on Saturday (2pm), while once again the squad will be split next Tuesday with games lined up against Dollingstown (7pm) and Lisburn Distillery (7.15pm).
