Many of Glenavon’s games are now available to watch online on 247.tv/niprem.

The Glenavon Media team will be producing a live stream for all home games which are not being shown by BBC Sport NI or Sky Sports. Our coverage which will include features, in-game graphics and commentary.

It is hoped that by providing the stream this will provide access to Glenavon games for supporters who can’t get to the games, whether they live near or far from Mourneview Park.

All of our games are available for just £5 and can be seen on a wide range of devices. A replay will be available after the game for £3, however if you purchase a live stream of the game then you also get a free replay. Here’s our guide to how you can watch the game.

Make sure your device is compatible

To check if your phone, tablet or laptop can run the stream, visit 247.tv/niprem, and then select Test Video. Once on the Test Video page you should see a video. Press play, and if it works then your device is compatible.

Buying the match

If your device is compatible then at the top of the page click Register. All you need to do this is an email address. Create a username and a password and you are good to go. Remember to keep a note of these as you will need them to log in to watch the game or any game hereafter.

Note: If you had previously registered to watch a recent game, you do not need to register again. Simply log in with the details you used previously.

Once you are registered, click webcasts. Here you will see all of the upcoming Danske Bank Premiership streams, as well as replays of previous games. Click ‘buy live’ for the stream you want to watch. We recommend that you go through this process as soon as possible so that you feel comfortable with the website, rather than leaving it to closer to kick-off. Glenavon Media are planning on going live from 2.30pm with pre-match build-up. Until that time nothing will appear on screen.

To make the stream the full size of your device’s screen, press the symbol at the bottom right of the video as seen below.

How to cast the stream to your TV

If you wish to watch the game on your TV, we highly recommend you test this before doing so by using the test video mentioned earlier.

There are a number of ways to watch the game on TV.

  • If you have bought the stream on a laptop or computer, plug in an HDMI cable from it to your TV. This will let you view the webpage once you find the relevant input channel on your TV. Remember to click the ‘full screen’ button at the bottom of the video.

  • If your Smart TV is compatible (you are advised to do this in advance as most are not), go to your TV’s internet browser. Visit 247.tv/niprem, log in using your details, click the stream you want to watch and then click the ‘full screen’ button.

  • If you have an Amazon Firestick, use the same method as above through the Amazon Silk app (it’s the one that says ‘internet’ with the Amazon smile below it).

  • If you have a Google Chomecast, find the stream on your Apple device, and cast the stream to your TV.

Once again, we would urge all supporters to make sure that they are familiar with the process before watching the game on Saturday as our social media channels will be busy in the lead-up to the game. Support will be available on the 247.tv/niprem website by clicking on the ‘Contact us’ section. And if you know someone who might need a bit of help with this, why not talk them through it in advance?
