Glenavon Football Club is pleased to announce that Philip Harrison has joined its Board of Directors.

Philip, who has been following the Lurgan Blues for 50 years, is a regular sponsor of the club through his Craigavon Koi and Aquatics business, based on Deans Road in Bleary.

Speaking about his appointment, Philip said, “The Board is for people who are prepared to help drive the club forward and want Glenavon to do well, and at the end of the day that is what we all want.”

“I’ll be involved, amongst other things, with licensing and IFA/UEFA games at Mourneview, and on match days looking after the sponsors and the NIFL Match Observer” he added.

Meanwhile, the club can confirm that Eddy Kerr has decided to stand down from the board as he felt he was unable to serve the best interests of the club as a director in the season ahead.
