Next up for Glenavon is the Euro Electrix Mid-Ulster Cup final at Stangmore Park where we face Warrenpoint Town on Tuesday night, kick0ff 7:45pm

The two sides go into the game on the back of contrasting results from Saturday, Glenavon losing at home to Cliftonville in a re-arranged Danske Bank Premiership fixture while Warrenpoint progressed to their first ever Irish Cup semi-final with a 3-1 win against amateurs Larne Tech Old Boys. That victory came largely thanks to a hat-trick by Glenavon old boy Simon Kelly who opened the scoring from the penalty spot before adding two trade-mark headed goals to seal the win.

The last time the sides met was on New Years Day at MVP in a league encounter which the impressive visitors won 3-1, Philip Donnelly scoring all three goals for the Point. They also won by the same score-line the last time the sides met in this competition, back in November 2016.

Glenavon, as holders of this trophy, will be hoping for a winning performance in what is a last chance for silverware this season for the Lurgan Blues.

It would be great to see you all at Stangmore Park on Tuesday night to support the Glenavon lads as they try to retain the Mid-Ulster Cup.

Admission prices are £10 Adult and £5 concession.
