After Robbie Norton was upended in the box after just 24 seconds Glenavon went ahead from the spot courtesy of Andy McGrory’s penalty.

It wasn’t until five minute from the interval that Bobby Burns doubled the lead, firing home after his initial effort from Stephen McCavitt’s cross was parried out by Shane Harrison.

Jack O’Mahony made it 3-0 in the 51st minute from McGrory’s ball across the six yard box and three minutes later Adam Foley fired home the fourth from a through ball by Jordan Jenkins.

James Costello pulled a goal back with a 56th minute penalty after Kris Lindsay fouled his man but Jenkins completed the scoring 12 minutes from time, running on to a nicely weighted ball from O’Mahony.
