Just the one change for Glenavon from last Friday’s draw with Glentoran, apart from Gary Hamilton’s new shorter beard, Caolan Marron in from the start with Andy Doyle dropping to the bench.

Rhys Marshall was adjudged to have tripped Brad Lyons in the Glenavon box and Darren McCauley cheekily dinked the spot kick over  Jonny Tuffey who almost reacted quick enough but couldn’t get his hand to the ball before it crossed the line to put the Bannsiders ahead in the 14th minute.

This came after a bright opening by Glenavon and the visitors were justifiably level ten minutes later when Andy Hall crossed to the far post where his opposite winger Adam Foley headed beyond the reach of Chris Johns.

14: 1-0 Darren McCauley penalty

24: 1-1 Adam Foley heads in equaliser from Andy Hall’s cross.

30: 2-1 Josh Carson capitalises on an error by Tuffey to put Coleraine back in front

39: 3-1 Superb strike by McCauley, curling into the top corner from 20 yards.

49: 3-2 Andrew Mitchell with a close range finish from a low cross by Hall

51: 4-2 Ciaron Harkin what a strike! He latched onto a ball as it was half cleared from the area and lashed a shot into the top corner. Goal of the season contender?
