A number of changes have been made in coaching personnel at the club. Niall Donnelly has left Mourneview and we would wish to put on record our appreciation for his hard work and contribution to the club during his time with us. We also wish him every success in the future.
Niall’s successor as First Team coach is current club captain, Kris Lindsay. Speaking to the Glenavon website, Manager Gary Hamilton said that he was delighted that Kris had been appointed to his role. “Kris is someone who is respected at all levels within the club, he has shown in the past his dedication and commitment by battling back from a series of injuries to make a significant impact as a player. Both Paul and myself look forward to working with him.”
Kris, who is employed by the IFA and holds a UEFA A licence qualification, will continue to be part of the playing squad.
