The Glenavon Golf Classic returned on Friday 19th May for the first time since 2014 with Major Freight Services on board as the main sponsor.
Lurgan Golf Club kindly hosted the event and it was a great success with 47 partaking in the day’s golf followed by for a delicious 2 course meal in the clubhouse.
The main prizes were awarded on a team basis, with the team containing former Glenavon players Colin Crawford & Alex Denver pipping the team, which contained former Portadown and current Glentoran left-back Ross Redman, to first prize.
A special thanks goes to Wilson Collins & Paul Best from Lurgan Golf Club for all their work in organising the golf, Ian Irwin who helped organise sponsors and Andy Heasley who provided the evening entertainment.
