Glenavon take on Tobermore United as the ‘big boys’ get involved in the League Cup on Tuesday night (Mourneview Park, 7.45pm).

This game was originally scheduled to be played at Tobermore’s Fortwilliam Park, but due to the ground’s lack of floodlights it was moved to Lurgan.

So it’s a night under the Mourneview Park lights that fans have to look forward to, and they will be hoping that Gary Hamilton’s men do better than they did at this stage of the competition last year. On that occasion Annagh United shocked everyone by winning on penalties following a 3-3 draw at Mourneview.

The Glenavon boss told this website that both Kevin Braniff and Paddy McCourt are expected to play some part in the game, while Kyle Neill will make his first team comeback following the injury he picked up on Boxing Day.

The match sponsor is GBM Design & Print, with Environmental Packaging & Recycling sponsoring the ball, and Eventsec sponsoring the Man of the Match award.

Supporters are reminded that admission to Tuesday night’s game is £8 and £5, and season tickets are NOT valid.
