Congratulations to Glenavon goalkeeper Jonathan Tuffey who has scooped the NI Football Writers Player of the Month award for December.

Incredibly, Tuffey only conceded one goal in December, keeping clean sheets against Carrick Rangers, Coleraine and Portadown as the Lurgan Blues took 10 points from the month.

Jonny was presented with his award earlier this week by Stephen Watson, Chairman of the Football Writers’ Association.
