There is an attractive international fixture at MVP  when Jim Magilton’s Northern Ireland under-21 team take on Scotland in a European Championship qualifying game. Several of the 18 strong squad will be familiar to Glenavon fans.  Our own Joel Cooper and James Singleton are the only two locally based selected. In addition Ryan McLaughlin, Shay McCartan and, of course, Robbie McDaid have all played for various Glenavon teams in the recent past. With our match against  Portadown having been postponed there is no excuse for not coming along  and supporting the boys in green. Kick off is 2.00 pm with free admission.
