Saturday sees the first of a massive home double-header for Glenavon as the Glens come to Mourneview Park level on points with the Lurgan Blues, quickly followed on Easter Tuesday by Cliftonville – both games kicking off at 3pm.

With a potential Europa League place up for grabs as the league race moves into its final phase of games, both clubs will be going all out for a win. Depending on how tomorrow’s Cliftonville-Portadown game ends up, a win for either side at Mourneview tomorrow could see the winners move level on points with the side currently in 4th place.

Last time out at The Oval Gary Hamilton came off the bench to score a dramatic late winner but the Lurgan Blues boss has had limited opportunities for game time or training due to his serious long term injury problems, his only outing since that win being as a substitute in Tuesday night’s Mid-Ulster Cup defeat to Armagh City.
