Ciaran Martyn drops to the bench with Andy Kilmartin replacing him and Mark Sykes is in from the start for Andrew Hall.

After going close in the 6th minute when Sykes hit the post with a low shot and Glenavon somehow failed to force the rebound over the line Sykes forced another corner when Andy Coleman saved his effort at his near post. From the resulting Joel Cooper corner James Singleton headed against the bar from beyond the far post but David Elebert was on hand to nod in the rebound and give Glenavon a deserved lead in the 15th minute.

It was 2-0 on the half hour mark when Guy Bates’ cross was nodded down by Sykes, Cooper’s volley was blocked on the six yard line but Gray powered home the rebound.

A minute before the break Glenavon was denied what seemed like a nailed-on penalty as Rhys Marshall was felled in the box as he played a one-two with Bates.

The second half was hardly action-packed but Glenavon had already done enough to secure the three points.
