League Cup Third Round
We have been drawn at home to Newry City in the Third Round of the Bet McLean League Cup. The tie is scheduled for Tuesday 8th October with a 7:45pm kick off.
Fixtures Update
The Reserves fixture against Dungannon Swifts, originally scheduled for Wednesday 28th August, will now take place this Saturday. Kick off time at Mourneview Park is 12 noon. We begin our defence of the Auto Electrix Mid Ulster Cup with a home fixture against Rathfriland Rangers on Tuesday, 10th September. Kick off is at 7:45pm.
Tunnock’s Challenge Cup
The kick off time for our match against Formartine United on 7th September has been confirmed as 3pm.
Carrick Game Postponed
Due to our involvement in the Scottish Challenge Cup, Glenavon's match against Carrick Rangers on Saturday 7th September has been postponed. No date for the re-scheduled game has been determined as yet.
Tunnock’s Challenge Cup Draw
Glenavon has been drawn away to Highland League side Formartine United in the 3rd Round of the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup. The 3rd Round ties are to be played on the weekend of 7th/8th September but supporters thinking of travelling are advised not to make any arrangements until the date and time of the game [...]
Reserves Fixture (Wed)
After their excellent away victory on Saturday against Glentoran the Reserves face Cliftonville Olympic this Wednesday evening at MVP in a fixture in the Premier Development League. Kick off is at 7:45 pm.
Change of Date for Larne Game
Please note that our Danske Bank Premiership game away to Larne FC, originally scheduled for Saturday 5th October, has now been brought forward to Friday 4th October. Kick off at Inver Park is 7 45 pm.
Upcoming Friendlies
We have two further friendlies arranged this coming week. On Tuesday 23rd we travel to face Mid-Ulster Intermediate League side Crewe United, while Wednesday sees us face Belfast side St James' Swifts at Donegal Celtic Park. Both games have a 7.30 pm kick off.
Some Fixture Changes
We are due to play Glentoran at Home on Saturday 10th August. This is now re-scheduled for Friday 9th August kick off at 7.45pm. We are due to play Coleraine at Home on Saturday 31st August. This now re-scheduled for Friday 30th August kick off 8.00pm.
League Cup Draw
Following tonight's draw Glenavon will face Portstewart FC at home in the second round of the Bet McLean League Cup. Tie to be played on Tuesday 27th August.
