Result: Glenavon 2-3 Lisburn Distillery

Glenavon contrived to throw away a 2-0 half-time lead in this bottom of the table clash. A chance to move up to 9th place is lost and the Lurgan Blues slip back to the bottom of the table. The loss of Niall Henderson at half time with a groin problem seemed to be a major factor in the Whites comeback in the second half although Glenavon spurned a couple of good chances to extend the lead early in that half.

Gary Hamilton made his first start as player-manager alongside Tony Grant with Mark Miskimmin dropping to the bench with Cameron Grieve as Brendan Shannon returned to the starting lineup. Kris Lindsay and Brian McCaul made their Glenavon debuts after completing loan moves from Linfield and young midfielder Matty Moffett was among the substitutes.
