On Tuesday night the Board of Directors hosted a special evening in the Boardroom to thank all those who undertake voluntarily a range of duties to assist the club.

Club Chairman Adrian Teer said the evening was an opportunity for the Board to acknowledge and thank all those who voluntarily assist Glenavon throughout the football season especially on match days at Mourneview Park. “Volunteers are a lifeblood for almost every Premiership club. They often do their jobs without due recognition and  people may not recognise the fact that many of them actually save the club a considerable sum of money over an entire season” said the Chairman. “It was a pleasure for the Board to host a small reception for our volunteers and we were delighted with the attendance. I think everyone enjoyed the evening, the buffet and the craic.”
