Glenavon FC is delighted to announce that Josh Daniels has signed a two year extension to his contract which was due to expire at the end of this season. Josh, who joined initially on loan from Derry City, has already made over 50 appearances for Glenavon and scored 7 goals, including the winner in the 2-1 home victory against Molde in the Europa League and the spectacular winning goal in the 3-2 Danske Bank Premiership win against Crusaders in September.

Gary Hamilton told us “We’re delighted to be able to keep Josh here. He’s a top player and a young lad with a long career in front of him. He’s an exciting talent who’s done really well since coming to Glenavon. We’ve been really pleased with him and we’re hoping that he’ll kick on even more because really, last season was Josh’s first full season at any level, It takes a couple of years for players to hit their full potential. We’ve started to see that this year, until he got his injury, but hopefully that’s over him now and he’ll be back to where he was before he got injured.”
