As we look forward to our first visit to the Newry City AFC Showgrounds this season, Glenavon supporters are advised to note the following important advice:

  • As Newry is very busy on Friday nights, supporters are advised to allow plenty of time to travel through the town to make it in time for the kick off at 7:45pm.
  • There is very limited room in the car park so if it’s full, as is most likely, cars will have to be parked further down the industrial estate past the stadium.
  • Supporters buses are asked to proceed down the Greenbank Industrial Estate past the ground for approximately 1 mile to turn and come back and park about 300 yards from the ground on the Right Hand side of the road. There is a possibility that during the second half of the match buses may be moved closer the Warrenpoint Road roundabout; this decision to be made on the night.
  • Glenavon supporters will enter the ground via the large car park and turnstiles closest to Newry.
  • No away supporters will be permitted to enter the social club on the night of match.
  • Supporters will be searched as they enter the ground. Anyone attempting to gain entrance who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused admittance
  • No readmittance to ground after match commences.
