It’s Boxing Day, but not as we know it.

This year Warrenpoint Town provide the opposition for the traditional festive fixture as Glenavon look to build on Saturday’s win over Dungannon.

They will have to do it without James Singleton, who was sent off after picking up a second yellow card at Stangmore Park.

Otherwise Glenavon should have a clean bill of health for the visit of Warrenpoint, who we last met on the opening day of the season.

On that occasion Glenavon ran out 3-2 winners, Marc Griffin and Bobby Burns adding to a Jordan Dane own goal with Darren Murray bagging two for the ‘Point.

They come into the game having won just one of their last 10, beating Carrick Rangers, albeit their last four games have been against Coleraine, Linfield, Crusaders and Cliftonville.
