Today, Tuesday, marks the start of the prestigious UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship which is being held in the Province for the first time. As hosts N Ireland qualify automatically and will be joined  in their group by Germany, Scotland and Spain. Holders France, together with England, France and the Netherlands make up the other group. Three games in the group stage of the competition will take place at Mourneview:

• Tuesday 8th August Italy v England @ 3.00 pm
• Friday 11th August N Ireland v Scotland @ 7.00 pm
• Monday 14th August Spain v Scotland @ 7.00 pm
