Winger Adam Foley has returned to join Glenavon after signing a one-year amateur deal tonight. Adam sustained a serious knee injury in a pre-season game at Loughgall in July 2013 and underwent an operation in November that year.

After his recovery he made several appearances in the Reserves and started one League Cup game but a change in his work commitments saw him released from his contract in November 2014 to return to amateur football down south.

He made a successful return to the Dankse Bank Premiership last season with Portadown.

“I am delighted that Adam is back in the club, particularly  in light of the unfortunate circumstances in which he left last time,” Gary Hamilton told us.
