International Recognition for Young Glenavon Players

/, Announcement/International Recognition for Young Glenavon Players

A number of the club’s promising young players have received well-deserved international call ups in the last few days. Firstly, Harry Robinson has been included in the Northern Ireland Under-18 development squad for the forthcoming friendlies against Denmark next week. Incidentally, Harry is one of only three locally based players in the 18 strong squad.

Conall Young and Jack O’Mahony have been selected for the Northern Ireland Under-18 Schoolboys squad for the Centenary Shield series of matches. The first game is against the Republic of Ireland on the 2nd March. Conall and Jack are joined in the squad by Bobby Burns, currently on loan with Knockbreda.
