Glenavon have arranged an attractive pre-Europa League friendly at Mourneview Park on Saturday 18 June when the Welsh Premier League club Llandudno will provide the opposition. Llandudno, in their very first season in the Welsh Premier League, amazingly finished in 3rd place and second highest scorers after champions The New Saints. In doing so they have qualified for Europe for the first time in their history.

The Welsh club will be flying in and out from Liverpool on the day of the game and to facilitate their flight times the kick-off will be 12 noon.

“This is as good a game as we are going to get pre Europe” enthused Gary Hamilton who concluded the arrangements this evening. Glenavon and Llandudno will play their Europa League first round qualifying games on Thursday 30 June and Thursday 7 July following the draw which takes place in Geneva on Monday 20 June.

Further details about the game on 18 June will appear here in due course.
