Gary Hamilton has moved swiftly to appoint ex-Linfield Assistant Manager Bryan McLoughlin as his new First Team Coach. Bryan was assistant to David Jeffrey during his successful reign as Linfield manager and stepped down when Jeffrey departed at the end of the 2013-14 season.

“I’m absolutely delighted to have got Bryan on board,” Gary Hamilton told us when he broke the news this morning. “He’s vastly experienced and played a big part in Linfield’s success under Davy. He’s a winner and he showed his loyalty when he stepped down after Davy left and that’s a quality I value highly.

“Bryan will be on the bench tonight to see how the boys play and he’ll start his official duties at training on Thursday night” Gary concluded.
