Mark Patton’s goal today against Cliftonville, the 5th in a resounding 5-0 win, was Glenavon’s 100th goal in all competitions this season. With three league games still to play to complete the season only league leaders Crusaders have scored more league goals than Glenavon.

It all started back in July at Mourneview Park in Glenavon’s Europa league game with FH from Iceland, Kevin Braniff and Eoin Bradley getting the ball rolling with a goal apiece.

The two strikers now have 31 goals between them and Glenavon fans are relishing the prospect of more to come from the Lurgan Blues in the final three games of the season as Gary Hamilton’s men go all out to try to secure a Europa League place again next season.
